After I left my job almost three years ago due to health problems, I took up the fascinating yet equally infuriating hobby of photography. I started with a Nikon D5200 and a couple of kit lenses and it went from there. I now shoot with a Nikon D750 and an array of lenses gathered over the past three years. I have a fondness for floral photography but no prejudice whatever. If I like the look of it, I shoot it.
A year or so ago, I began to delve more into the various software packages associated with editing photographs and I enjoy manipulating the shots I take. I haven’t gone as far as full composite work as yet but I’m sure I’ll get curious enough eventually.
Aside from the fresh air an outdoors, I enjoy the constant learning curve that photography offers. There will always be a new technique, a new piece of software, a new camera gadget to try etc etc. It’s a constantly evolving thing. Hopefully, I can document some of those learning experiences on here as well as share some photographs and some related ramblings.
